August Employee of the Month

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to Trueman Pointe's August 2022 Employee of the Month, Nina Pukys! Nina is our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), and we are so grateful to have her on the team! She has been with us since September of 2021 and is coming up on her one-year anniversary!

As an SLP, Nina assesses and treats patients with a wide variety of deficits, including but not limited to dysphagia, cognition, speech and/or communication difficulties. Nina loves working with our residents to help develop individual and personalized goals. She expressed, "The best part about work is being able to help residents eat again and being able to have them communicate with others."

Brittany Diltz, our Director of Therapy, wanted to share, "Nina is always willing to step in and help whether it's passing trays, helping in the kitchen, or assisting at other Foundation's facilities. Nina strives to give patients the best possible experience and make them feel at home."

In her spare time, Nina enjoys reading a good book, her favorite being "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn." When she isn't at work, you can find her hanging out with her pooch baby, Rudy, who is a lab mix.
