Get to Know Our New ADON

Trueman Pointe would like to give a warm welcome to our new Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Carly Edmond! Carly has been a great addition to the team so far, and we can't wait to see her excel in her new role. We wanted to give our families a peek inside her life to get to know her a little more.

Meet Carly Edmond:

"I'm originally from Brooklyn, New York, then moved to The Hudson Valley of New York. I loved it there. I enjoyed going hiking, fishing, and seeing the rolling mountain views. I felt stagnate in my career, so I decided to make a pivotal change. I researched places, and Ohio popped up on my radar. I knew I'd have a thriving career in this state.

I've been in the medical field for 22 years now. I started as a CNA and have been a nurse for the past nine years. With many awards for excellence in care, choosing to go back to school and become an LPN will further my career to become an RN one day.



I love being able to make a difference in people's lives, not only residents, but family members as well. Caregivers place faith in nursing facilities to care for their loved ones. I want to set their minds at ease and make them not have to worry about their family members receiving the best care possible.

I'm excited to work with our team to improve our resident's optimal wellness in a loving and caring environment, upholding the Culture of Care!!"
