July Employee of the Month

Congratulations to Trueman Pointe's July Employee of the Month, Elaine!

Elaine is Truman Pointe's wonderful Occupational Therapist Assistant. She does an amazing job at assisting our Therapists and providing quality care to our residents. She enjoys a challenging, fun, and rewarding work environment, and Trueman Pointe is happy to fulfill that for her. Elaine loves to work and help people, and that’s clear to see by how well she works with her patients. Elaine is passionate about being an advocate for her patients by bridging the gap between the person and medical work. Her favorite part about this job is getting to know her patients on a personal level and learning more about their backgrounds. One of her favorite memories at the facility is doing cartwheels on Cartwheel Friday in the therapy gym!



In her spare time, Elaine enjoys gardening and walking with her dog, who is a black lab named Bear. She also loves spending time with her 12-year-old son, Cooper, and her husband, Mike. As a family, they like to watch football together, especially Ohio State! Some of the causes that Elaine is passionate about are adaptive sports, however, she has not been able to pursue volunteering in this because she’s been so busy between work and her son's activities. An interesting fact you might not know about Elaine is that she used to waterski in college.
